  This focus ignores the essential factor, the customer's true willingness to pay
- Pricing Insight has developed a Value Based Pricing approach that maps the
  'value-in-use' (ViU) and 'value-at-risk' (VaR) product profile for each customer 
  segment to determine the optimal go-to-market strategy
- The ViU and VaR factors assess a range of criteria including: usage, consumption,
  occasion, product/service performance expectation and the opportunity costs
  of failure
